- Learning Objectives
After participating in this program, the pharmacist should be able to:
- Recall the relationship between CD4 cell count and HIV viral load.
- Give examples of Department of Health and Human Services guideline recommended Anti-Retroviral (ARV) regimens.
- Describe resistance as it relates to the need for new ARV classes and agents.
- Choose new ARV combination therapy based on a patient specific case scenario.

Continuing Education Accreditation Information
Northeastern University Bouvé College of Health Sciences School of Pharmacy is approved by the Accreditation Council on Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Pharmacists successfully participating in this program will receive a statement of credit for 1 contact hour (0.1 CEU). Statements of Credit may be printed on-line after successful completion of the learning assessment (70%).
